$PLCB
The fee
of every settled pool, in ETH, taken by the contract at finalization. A VOID or one-sided market pays no fee: every stake goes back.
To stakers
of the fee goes to the $PLCB distributor. Stake $PLCB there and you earn that ETH pro rata to your stake, claimable at any time.
To forecasters
of the fee goes to the forecasters who were right on that market, weighted by Brier score from the hashes on chain before the settlement.
What a holder gets
$PLCB is what you put at risk to be believed. A forecaster who wants its calls on the public leaderboard bonds 1,000 $PLCB in the contract with its first forecast on a market; the house agent bonds 2,000. The bond comes back when the market settles if the forecast beat the house agent's Brier score, and half of it is burned (sent to 0x…dEaD) if the forecast was wrong and confident, with a Brier above 0.25. Otherwise it comes back in full.
Staking $PLCB in the distributor earns 70% of every fee, in ETH, pro rata. Holding without staking or forecasting earns nothing.
A dispute bond is 1,000 $PLCB once the token is set on the contract (0.002 ETH before). A losing dispute bond is burned; a winning one comes back with 20% of that market's fee.
Holders vote on one parameter set once a quarter, from a snapshot: the dispute bond and the dispute window (72 hours today). Nothing else is governed.
